We will meet at Brandywine Harley Davidson formerly Hannum’s Harley-Davidson Chadds Ford, PA August 2, 2025 at 9:30 am and kick stands up at 10:00 am. We will ride to Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children. … We will make a donation to the Music & Arts Department as well as Childhood Cancer Research. We will than head to Northeast, MD to pay respect to my HERO in life my son Eli. We will than head over to the VFW 815 Turkey Point Rd North East, MD 21901 for lunch. Each rider and passenger will receive Eli’s memorial patch if your first ride. Also rocker in memory of Eli. The cost per rider is $20.00 and passenger is $10.00. This event will be every year. Riding on my Harley was one of Eli’s special times in his life. And so very special to me as I wear his helmet as I ride now. Please tell everyone to please join this event. If I invited you and you don’t ride please tell someone that does. Thank you all so much.

Family and Friends, On January 20, 2011 was the darkest time in our family’s life. We had just lost our Eli and had an unspeakable pain in our hearts. One day the Mayor of Oxford, Geoffrey L. Henry called and told us something that truly honored us. He wanted to proclaim March 1st as ELI MATTHEWS DAY in Oxford! He created a proclamation on February 21, 2011. We were so touched that he would honor our angel in this way. We are so excited that so many people have come to support this day in our town, and around the Nation. We love driving around Oxford and seeing all the signs and billboards with Eli’s name on them. Eli touched so many people in his life and even now continues to do so from Heaven. March 1st is quickly approaching. Hoka Hey Rider Chris Comly’s fundraiser to benefit the Eli Seth Matthews Leukemia Foundation
My name is Chris Comly and I am riding in the 2022 Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge which starts and ends in South Dakota. The Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge is a 10,000 mile ride around the country as a test of endurance, patience, and skill. We use turn by turn paper directions with no GPS and will be sleeping outside next to our bikes. Each rider selects a charity to support and I have chosen the Eli Seth Matthews Leukemia Foundation. Toys will be picked up on December 6th and delivered on Saturday December 11th to A.I. duPont Hospital for Children, Shriners Hospitals for Children — Philadelphia and CHOP.
This year we will not be able to have Santa’s Elves 😢 because of COVID and toys will be delivered to the Hospitals front door. What matters is that we collect and deliver these toys to the children that will spend Christmas in the hospital.
